Hello everybody! Today I would like to tell you more about 3 countries London, Scotland, and Wales. I'm sure that you don't know about some interesting facts.
To begin with, the first country in London. First of all, the London Eye is the tallest observation wheel in the world and each rotation takes about 30 minutes. Also, "Her Majesty Royal Palace and fortress of London" is home to the queen of England's Jewels. The most celebrated residents of the tower of London today are the Ravens. Moreover, do you ever heard about Pencil museum? There's a very special type of coloring pencil in Keswick at the Cumberland pencil museum.At nearly 26 feet-it's the largest in the world.The pencil was completed on 28 may 2001. Also, of course, everyone knows about famous poster " Keep Calm and Carry on". The slogan was originally dreamt up as a way of preserving morale during the World War ll.
Secondly, the next stop is Scotland. I think that a lot of people don't know about interesting things of Scotland. So, Many of Scotland's most famous items -kilts(from Ireland), tartans(from central Europe) and bagpipes(from central Asia). Also, The flag Scotland is a white x-shaped cross, which represents the cross of the patron saint of Scotland.However, I didn't know about very beautiful animals. The famous shaggy-haired cattle are the oldest breed of cow in the world. I think that everyone should look at him. Also, if you visit Scotland you should try the shortest flight in the world.The journey takes just 1 minute 14 seconds.And you should visit zoo is famous for its penguin parade.
In conclusion, about Wales.So, of course, Wales has a flag too.The flag consists of a red dragon passant on a green and white field.It was granted in 1959.Many people say it's the oldest national flag. On our excursion, you can see a beautiful landscape that will take your breath away. And of course, you can buy souvenirs like lovespoon. This is traditional lovespoon for a young woman in Scotland. And in the end of our excursion, we will visit the village. A Welsh village is famous for having the longest place name in Europe.
